We are excited to announce the return of the Guntersville Christmas Boat Parade In 2022! The "Trial Run" for the 2021 was a success and has generated a lot of interest for this year. 2022 will be the 1st Annual "official" return, so we would love everyone to come join in the fun. For everyone that joined us on the "Trial Run" last year, thank you! We really appreciate your support. Follow us on the website and Facebook for any updates! More information to come! Feel Free to go ahead and register!
-As Always, Safe Seas!
It is finally that time of year again! Special thanks to Captain Janus of "Compass Rose" for taking us out to ride the course this weekend. I spoke with the TVA and the conditions this weekend should be the same. We had good depth the entire course (12-14') but as always watch your depth gauges. The parade will start in the area of City Harbor. Line up will be between City Harbor and the 227 bridge @ 5:30 pm. We will then go past City Harbor following US-431 then turning under the bridge. This year we will make an immediate turn to port and follow the bank all the way around to the park area. Just before the shallows at the park area we will turn starboard and head back to the US-431 bridge. This route should allow good viewing from Lurleen B. Wallace drive. The parade will make one lap at approximately 4 - 4 1/2 Knots then disburse at City Harbor. This should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Please plan on joining us at City Harbor after the parade. We have had several requests to dock so that people can come look at the boats. Currently they are predicting scattered showers for Saturday but no severe weather. This event will take place rain or shine. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
- Merry Christmas!
